An Infection! That’s the best way to describe my first experience with fantasy football. I started playing in a league at Pfizer where I used to work with some work collegues (after hours of course because the workplace is not for fantasy football). This particular league had been going on for a few years and I was new so I thought I’d give it a shot. We had a live draft and then week 1 came.
BAM! From that kickoff I was hooked and that was 3 years ago. Since then I have played in numerous leagues including Fanball, ESPN, Yahoo, Fantasy Football Open Championship (FFOC), Snapdraft, CBS, NFL, and just about any league I can get my hands on.
Last year I became a member of the Fantasy Sportswriters Association (FSWA) and have been placing my picks online for over 2 years now. Last year I simultaneously managed 40+ leagues and won a decent amount of my leagues. I enjoy the game and the fantasy aspect of it. If you ever This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. This year, Fantasy Football 2010, I plan on managing a similar amount of teams and I have already began working on my draft cheat sheets. I will be posting live weekly stats of how I am doing so you can gauge whether my advice is Obi-Wan like or just another crappy website…
